The packing is crafted through a diagonal braiding process using C or E-glass fiber yarns that have been initially saturated with a PTFE suspension. Following this, it undergoes a second impregnation with PTFE and is then treated with silicone oil for lubrication. This type of packing is extensively regarded as one of the most favored and suitable alternatives to asbestos-based PTFE packing.
